William Joseph "Wild Bill" Donovan (January 1, 1883 – February 8, 1959) was a United States soldier, lawyer, intelligence officer and diplomat. Donovan is best remembered as the wartime head of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), a precursor to the Central Intelligence Agency, during World War II.
Donovan is featured in a film about the history of the CIA that Stan shows Steve in "N.S.A. (No Snoops Allowed)" and his portrait hangs in the break room at CIA Headquarters.
