
George Vincent Gilligan, Jr. (born February 10, 1967) is an American writer, producer, and director, known for being the creator, head writer, executive producer, and a director of Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul. He is also known for being a writer and producer for The X-Files and was the co-creator of its spin-off The Lone Gunmen.
Vince provides his own voice in "(You Gotta) Strike For Your Right" where, following clues left in Breaking Bad, Francine, Steve, Roger and Klaus find his body after a publicity stunt that he expected would end quickly enough to be rescued. The family settles for taking $100 that they found in his pocket.
