Plot:
Three prisoners escape from Chimdale prison as the students of Pearl Bailey High School prepare for spirit week. However, Principal Lewis destroys their robots with a stunt. Despite Steve's willingness to rebuild them, his friends decide that it's useless to try as long as Lewis is still around. Fed up with his antics, Steve launches a formal complaint to school superintendent Ellen Riggs about Principal Lewis. Working at night to avoid Lewis, Steve hides as the three convicts come in to acquire the school blueprints, intending to blow it up. Steve is able to momentarily hide by posing as one of the robots, but gives himself away when he steps on the controller and the robots come to life. Making a run for it, he's pulled inside of Lewis' office who is cleaning out his things in preparation of being fired due to the investigation, unaware of Steve's role in filing it. While demonstrating the hydraulics and laser lights he has installed in the office, one of the convicts hears them and opens fire. Lewis and Steve escape through a tunnel in the floor and make their way to a secret bomb-proof hideaway of Lewis who wants to wait it out. When Steve refers to the convict chasing them as 'Toad-Button', Lewis realizes that he was a former student. As he tries to bash his way in, the escape up the chimney into the gym, where the spot the other two convicts planting their bombs, who Lewis recognizes as Toad-Button's friends.
Checking through his backpack for something useful, Lewis accidentally inflates a giant Halloween decoration which they are able to use to reach a catwalk over the gym. They overhear the convicts intend the set off the explosives when Lewis arrive the next day. Lewis and Steve reached the roof where the former deploys another Halloween inflatable for Steve to escape while Lewis hopes to reason with them. Steve doubts his plan, until he reveals that even though he knew that Steve was the one who ratted him out, he was still trying to help him as well. However, Toad-Button finds and captures them both before Steve can completely get away. They are taken to the football field to watch the school blown up, but when Lewis tries to reason with them, Toad-Button dismisses his concern because he loves the school. Steve questions this, and the convicts recount how Lewis tried to turn them around but dropped out when they couldn't satisfy him. Lewis confirms that he was too strict and really needed to become more of a friend to the kids. When Steve fails to get them to destroy the school by leaving Lewis in charge, The latter proposes a toast with Diet Coke, and downs several bottles as well as Mentos, which jet propels him around the stadium and knocks out the convicts. At the superintendent's meeting, Steve goes to bet for Lewis, noting that the current students have no intention of blowing up the school like the old ones did.
Meanwhile, a baby giraffe sneaks out of the zoo and surprisingly, Stan intends to give it the night of its life if the family finds it and it later wanders into their backyard during a barbecue. Taking the giraffe to a steakhouse, it freaks out when it sees a mounted deer head on the wall. They spend the rest of the night celebrating with the giraffe but as the face having to return it to the zoo, Roger arrives and has a plan, which turns out to be substituting Jeff for the giraffe.
When the superintendent asks about the convicts, it's revealed that Lewis got them fake names and sent them on their way to Mexico, along with the baby giraffe dressed as Jeff.
