There are several detective characters with the surname Turlington in American Dad!. They look identical, and act in very similar ways.
They have similar mannerisms including speaking in a low voice and being suspicious of almost everything and everyone. All Turlingtons seem to have had emotional problems pertaining to their mothers, often trying to talk to them in heaven, asking for help or guidance. This, along with their physical appearances, implies that the Turlingtons are siblings.

Seventh Turlington
An unnamed Turlington appears during "Everyone is Happy in Utopia" in "300".
Eighth Turlington
An unnamed Turlington appears in "The Grocery Store Bank". This Turlington is a police detective who is investigating the seemingly-foiled robbery of the new Grand Grocer, secretly engineered by Francine, Stan and Roger to steal $50,000 from the in-store bank. Although it initially was considered low-priority due to the stolen money being destroyed by dye packs, the police find out that the money was counterfeit and the real money is still missing, which leads Turlington to believe the money is hidden within the Grocer while the thieves wait for the dye packs' battery to run out. Come the night the battery dies and Francine, Stan and Roger go to the store to remember where they hid money, Turlington has the police out in force looking for both, but unfortunately the cops are considered "the worst in the country" and end up disposing of themselves. Turlington suspects the Smiths are the thieves and confronts them, but Stan taps into the intercom speaker and has Turlington reveal the existence of the hidden money, causing the customers to riot and destroy the store trying to find it. Although the Smiths make it out with what they believe is the item they hid the money in, Turlington catches them again, only to find out that the item didn't have the money either. Having no proof against the Smiths, and seeing the store is on fire, Turlington rushes back to the Grocer to save his keys.
