After learning about his friends' heritage, Steve becomes interested in discovering more about his family's background, but Stan refuses to participate. With Roger's help, Steve sends in a sample of Stan's DNA and they discover that they are originally Canadian. Stan is ashamed and doesn't consider himself a real American anymore, while Steve gets a tour of Smithfield, Canada with a Mountie. Stan follows astride Klaus, who was changed into a moose, where he finds a reunion going on.
But when things don't add up at the reunion, such as American-style strips instead of Canadian bacon and Krispy Kream donuts, Steve is suspicious until they are slipped a knockout dose of maple syrup. When they awaken, they find out that their organs are being harvested and sold thanks to the DNA test that they took. They escape and replace their organs with donuts, rebuilding their strength in order to crash the sale of their organs until they recover from a hallucination and find they are still captive. However, they are able to escape for real and get help at a Tim Hortons from Canadians who gladly donate their own organs to save them.
Back home, they almost get to find out about their real heritage, except Stan's credit card is declined. Just then, Klaus bursts through the door seeking shelter as it's moose season, and Roger is hunting him dressed as Elmer Fudd.
Meanwhile, Hayley invites Francine along on a cross-country trip as Sub Hub secret shoppers. Desperate to find some dirt in order to keep herself from being accused of slacking off, she tries a difficult order, which is handled perfectly. Trying another store, they almost strike out until they spy an employee taking meat. At first, it appears he's feeding dogs at an animal shelter, but when he strips down and rubs the meat on his body so that they can all lick him, Hayley and Francine move in for a bust. But when they turn him over to the founder of Sub Hub, Sebastian Hub, it turns out that he was only looking for wild people and takes their 'perp' on his party submarine. Francine tries to look on the bright side that he left behind a small sub for them, but Hayley is annoyed that it doesn't have lettuce in its design.
