Irritated, Jeff demands to be let out of the car, but he chooses a bad neighborhood where he is almost hustled, but partially stands up to the guy. This impresses a woman who works for a peer-to-peer stretch leggings company who puts him to work for them. After telling the family, Hayley takes him back to get their money back but get hooked on selling as well as the rest of the family when they try to intervein. However, Jeff finds himself pushed aside once again as the family makes themselves all vice presidents. The family throws a Tupperware-style party to sell the leggings, but it almost turns out to be a dud until Buckle falls for the leggings Jeff is wearing in the kitchen, excluded from group. They accuse him of trying to torpedo their party, which results in a competition to sell the most leggings.

Stretched Thin

At a convention for the sales people in Cancun, Jeff takes the top prize while Stan is made aware that they never sold any leggings. With the family at each other's throats, they beg Jeff to help them. When Jeff seeks their input, they refuse because they feel they have only bad ideas themselves. Jeff stumbles his way through and finally has to leave. While vomiting in the bathroom, he confesses to Roger that he made up all of his sales by robbing a bank to buy his own inventory. He wants to come clean with the family, but Roger talks him into making a good decision to get them off of his back. Spotting an advertisement for an upcoming Bazooka Sharks game, Jeff gets Stan to arrange for helicopters to drop the leggings on the crowd, which causes the Sharks to lose their game as Jeff and the family await payment thanks to attaching self-addressed envelopes to the pants. Not only do they not receive any payment, but the Sharks dump all of the leggings on their lawn and send them a bill for the clean up. Jeff confesses about making up his sales, to which the family admits they've all made bad decisions. Placing the blame on multi-level marketing, they decide to find a bigger sucker to take their inventory off of their hands, who turns out to be Tuttle. Over a celebratory dinner, Jeff points out that he did make one good decision in marrying Hayley.
