Simon Peter was a leader of the early Christian Church, who is featured prominently in the New Testament Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. Peter was the son of John, and was from the village of Bethsaida in the province of Galilee. His brother Andrew was also an apostle. Simon Peter is venerated in multiple churches and regarded as the first Pope by the Catholic Church.
When Stan and Michelle try to sneak into Heaven to order God to return Stan back to life in "The Most Adequate Christmas Ever", St. Peter reminds them what happened to the last persons that tried to sneak in. Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog are seen banished to the Phantom Zone from the movie Superman II.
