  • Jeff cooks chilaquiles which are corn tortillas cut into quarters and lightly fried, enchiladas suizas which are cheesy shredded chicken enchiladas topped with a creamy tomatillo sauce and huevos motuleños which are eggs on tortillas with black beans and cheese.
  • Klaus mentions that "huevos" is Spanish for "eggs" and "balls". While this is true, the intent of the joke was that Klaus was thinking of the slang term "balls" meaning "testicles", which in Spanish translates to "cojones" or "testículos".
  • Jeff and Haley celebrate the anniversary of their wedding, which occurred in "100 A.D.".
  • Roger dresses as Tony Mendez played by Ben Affleck in Argo; he correctly describes him as a Scorpio. He references several other Affleck films: Gone Girl, The Town, Mallrats.
