Paul Leonard Newman (January 26, 1925 – September 26, 2008) was an American actor, film director, producer, race car driver, IndyCar owner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He won and was nominated for numerous awards, winning an Oscar for his performance in The Color of Money.
With writer A. E. Hotchner, Newman founded Newman's Own, a line of food products, in 1982. The brand started with salad dressing and has expanded to include pasta sauce, lemonade, popcorn, salsa, and wine, among other things.
Steve becomes furious when Mrs. Lonstein 'adapts' his own mother's dressing recipe and start selling it commercially in "Mom Sauce". However, Francine reveals that she actually uses Newman's Own Ranch. Still irritated with Snot's new attitude, Steve notifies Newman's copyright police unit who raids Snot's birthday party, arresting his mother and placing him in children's Services. Snot further learns that it was Steve who arranged for the arrest from the beginning.
Steve tries to see Mrs. Lonstein in Newman's Own Women's Own Prison, but she tries to shank him instead. However, he finds that her toilet wine is a valuable commodity in prison and arranges with Newman's Own to trade her freedom for the recipe.
