- After killing Evil Steve, Principal Lewis says he's going to France like Roman Polanski. Film director Polanski escaped to France after finding out he faced serious jail time for the statuary rape of a 13-year-old in 1977.[1]
- The mall in the Barry universe contains parodies of Pinkberry, Ambercrombie and Fitch, K-B Toys, California Pizza Kitchen, and Build-A-Bear. The name of the universe is also a play-on words of the Cap'n Crunch Oops! All Berries cereal.
- As the two Lewis' hit Shaggy, they transform into a Popeye universe, a South Park universe and an anime universe.
- In the McLewis Burger, Lewis is dressed like Kel Mitchell in Good Burger, and has the same hairstyle.[2]
