Martha is a seamstress, as well as sexual partner to Roger's fashion designer persona of Sir Jennings Cockburn in "Dressed Down". Even when not directly involved with Roger, she is seen socializing with the family. At one point, Roger becomes concerned if she's still alive when she fails to move after several minutes of discussion with Stan, but she eventually gasps for air. She also sides with Klaus When he confronts Roger over his ruining of Stan's confidence in destroying the outfits. Roger agrees with her, but tells her to mind her own business. She does help him with designing a replacement suit for Stan.
