Louis Vincent Albano (July 29, 1933 – October 14, 2009) was an Italian-born American professional wrestler, manager and actor, who performed under the ring/stage name, "Capt." Lou Albano. He was active as a professional wrestler from 1953 until 1969 and progressed to being a manager until 1995.
In "The Wondercabinet", as Steve ponders what to do with his life, he stumbles across a radio show by Palmer Elymas pitching new age mysticism, starting with the pineal gland. he perceives the name of a series of professional wrestlers who support the theory that the gland can be used to move through time and space, including Lou Albano. He also insists that the artist known as Banksy is Lou Albano, having faked his death.
When Steve's body goes into stasis while having an out-of-body experience, Stan, who had previously viewed new age mysticism as nonsense, takes it up in an effort to return Steve to normal. During this process, he is seen reading a book by Lou Albano.
