Lonnie Lonstein is Snot's father who vanished from his family when Snot was young.
"The Adventures of Twill Ongenbone And His Boy Jabari" claims that his father, yet unnamed, never returned from a trip to Home Depot.
In "Independent Movie", Snot learns that Lonnie has died.
When Snot has to rely on Al Tuttle to teach him to drive in "Demolition Daddy", the latter suffers a heart attack, leaving Snot to drive to the hospital in reverse the entire way. There, he meets Roger's persona of Dick Keebler, who tells of being Lonnie's old spotter when they drove demolition derbies at Lanceton Raceway Park. When Lonnie is injured in a race and leaves for England because he can no longer look over his right shoulder, his old car, the 'Red Rammer' disappeared.
Roger agrees to help Snot learn to drive, but spends more time having sex with the track tramps. When Snot discovers that his mother had the Red Rammer disassembled, he enlists Barry and Toshi to rebuild it. But when he shows the rebuilt car to Roger at the park, he steals it and calls on the other demolition derby drivers to help his escape. As he and his mother give pursuit, they take out the other drivers with aid from Hayley and Steve. With his mother rooting him on, Snot pulls his father's signature derby move, but only to buy his mother some flowers. Having given up the chase, Snot confesses that since his dad had left the family, he doesn't need anything of his, with his mom being the only family he really needs.
In "Epic Powder Dump", Snot tells Klaus that years of searching for his dad made him excellent at tracking people down.
