The Langley Falls Library is where Francine secretly goes to have her bowel movements in "Flush After Reading".
When the family makes note of Francine's trips to the library and speculate on her actual whereabouts, Stan's CIA tracker reveal she's actually going to the library so he rushes to stop her from becoming a 'nerd'. At the library, Francine greets the librarian Joline who has placed new books in the restroom for her. Meanwhile, Roger and Rogu figure out she's going there to use the restroom and Roger becomes determined to find out why. He manages to locate Francine before Stan does, and uses a power of his to transport them into the books to hide from him.
Stan, disgusted by the books, is encouraged by Joline, a recovering pyromaniac, to set fire to several, unaware that Francine and Roger are forced to escape the burning books. Stan nearly burns his own self-published memoir when Jolene recalls that he actually had a book signing at the library. As Roger and Francine are forced to flee through multiple books, they find themselves in Stan's own memoir when the fire catches up yet again, but are trapped in the kitchen. As Roger enjoys being inflammable, Francine nearly faces death until the flames suddenly end, because Stan decided to save his memoir. However, Francine finds herself reliving the taco incident. To escape, they arrange a quick rewrite of the memoir to make it unsellable on Amazon and are ejected from the book, where she tells Stan her secret.
