Katherine Marie Helmond (July 5, 1929 – February 23, 2019) was an American film, theater and television actress, who is famous for playing Jessica Tate on Soap, Mona Robinson on Who's the Boss?, and Debra Barone's mother, Lois, on Everybody Loves Raymond.
She appears with Usher in "Merlot Down Dirty Shame" in The Iconoclasts, a Sundance Channel show. Each episode pairs two "creative visionaries" who discuss their lives, influences, and art. Neither of which Kathrine or Usher understand anything about each other.
