John Sidney McCain III (August 29, 1936-August 25, 2018) was the senior United States Senator from Arizona. He was the Republican nominee for President in the 2008 United States election, losing to Barack Obama.
In "The Unbrave One", Stan paints Steve's room into a nursery honoring John McCain's bravery when Francine thinks she may be pregnant. Stan paints murals honoring him getting his legs broken by the Viet Cong, choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate when he didn't know anything about her and him chewing off his own cancerous mole. Stan later send him an invitation to his hero's brunch although John complains that Stan stuffed it with glitter which gets all over John and his suit.
