John is an employee of The Langley Falls Bazooka Sharks who supplies the arena announcer with messages to read. When the announcer reads a series of messages from Hayley to Stan of bomb locations at the Shark's Nest in "The Long Bomb", he is eventually given notice of his own firing by John.
