James is one of the people Roger, Bad Larry and Ray try to get Stan to kill at the End of the Road, a bar for people really down on their luck in "42-Year-Old Virgin". Stan up passing on all of their candidates.
James is suggested because Bad Larry finds him curled up under the dart machine smelling of urine and despair. his jacket is made of newspaper and mumbles he'd rather die than pay his ex-wife alimony.
