    • In reality, Death Wish 3 was released in November 1985, and available on VHS in 1986.[1]

  • Steve's gift to Francine is a snippet of "This Christmas", a song he wrote and sings to the tune of "Last Christmas" by Wham!
  • Roger uses a thermal imager that he installed for sex in the living room to judge the family's reactions to the gifts, rating Steve's highly.
  • Stan gives Steve a Patrick Mahomes jersey. Steve mispronounces the 'Chiefs' as "Chefs". Stan thinks it'll help him fit in and not get beat up.

    • Roger had a huge jug of soy sauce in his cart, which he wasn't sure if he'd already purchased or not. When he gets beat out for the goggles, he finds he has two more jugs of soy sauce.

    • He invents the JollyGoggles and the Jingleverse to compete. With virtual gifts, he'll never have to make another real gift again.

    • Stan thinks the ideal pants are those worn in the middle East like in Aladdin. Santa loves his pair he identifies as harem pants.
