  • Steve comes close to breaking the fourth wall when he says they 'widen to reveal...'. The camera does this motion to show Stan returning from his shopping spree.
  • In "Stanny Slickers 2: The Legend of Ollie's Gold", Stan mentions he helped Francine in his small business, making reference to her kiosk. It is also brought up again in "Tears of a Clooney" when Francine mentions her dream to destroy George Clooney, Stan says "I thought her dream had something to do with a muffin kiosk. What ever happened to that...?"
  • The tune played in the scene where Stan is trying to find a parking space is an instrumental remix of "Been There, Done That" by Dr. Dre.
  • Public Enemy's song, "911 Is A Joke" plays when Stan has the clock necklace on and dances with his one rocket boot.

  • When Stan pushes Francine out of the way from the falling glass, only to be saved by the giant clock he's wearing around his neck, he mentions that this was the second time that hip-hop saved his life, without revealing the first time. In "Killer Vacation", he once again thanks hip-hop for saving his life.
