Plot:
A lunar misstep sends Roger on an unexpected detour to New Mexico when an angered moon beast rips out his spaceship's power source. He is discovered and taken to a boarding house for a hot meal by a passing traveler. Fearing for his life from the locals, he tries to make a run for it, but knocks himself out. He comes to just in time for dinner where he becomes slightly more relaxed over the locals banter. But when he considers leaving after the meal, he finds that he is pursued by Avery Bullock, Sr. of the CIA. Roger tries to hide in a bathroom, but when his space is discovered, he disguises himself in Ms. Macadoo's clothes and passes himself off as her twin sister. After momentarily successfully fooling Bullock, he reveals himself to the boarders who take him for an actor. He starts to explain that he's really an alien, but they refuse to listen to him. Instead, he makes them happy by doing impersonations of all of them. They talk him into expanding his repertoire of characters by going into town for the chile festival, unaware that Bullock is still spying on them.
At a tent revival, he discovers that his spaceship's power source is being passed off as a piece of Heaven's wall, so he disguises himself as an angel set to recover it. When the preacher refuses to buy his story, Roslyn Jenkins backs him up, as does others in the crowd eager to please God. Meanwhile, not only is he pursued by Bullock's father, the moon beast is also after him. Shape shifting into a coyote, it pursues Roger into town where it shifts to a woman after Roger is given the power source. When he attempts to escape out the back of the tent, he is captured by Bullock who takes him toward Area 51, but his friends intervene. He manages the fool Bullock by disguising himself as Ms. Macadoo's twin sister again, so he decides to take the entire group. To save them, Roger steps forward and offers himself, as Bullock is knocked cold by Clifton. Roger is surprised because Clifton was standing with the group. However, this one turns out to be the moon beast. Surrendering, he appeals to the beast, but when it appears they have reached an understanding, he escapes and allows Bullock to capture the beast. Leaving his friends behind in order to keep them safe, he secures his spaceship in a storage locker, as a montage of a fictional follow-up show is shown in which Roger stays on Earth, having multiple personas while being on the run from Avery Bullock, Sr., his bald son and the moon beast.
