Epic Powder Dump A

Stan's plans for a rustic winter mountain getaway hit a snag when he finds out that his quiet little vacation spot has been turned into a ski resort. Unable to cope with the nonstop party scene and desperate to relive the vacations of his youth, he insists his family follow him for some actual skiing, but his movement sends their skis flying to the city dump. There, he actually finds the peace that he desired, so he demands the family set up camp there. Roger, who had joined the party scene, observes them freezing in a rebuilt cabin and invites the rest of the family up. Stan is irritated that they aren't interested in his kind of vacation, so he leaves them behind, but while skiing at the dump, he sets off an avalanche that buries him inside of a refrigerator. Inside, he realizes that the family vacations of his youth were actually lousy due to his family being poor, just as everyone had said. The family observes the avalanche and, with Roger's help, tries to organize a search party, but the party crowd too drunk to function. However, the family is still able to locate Stan after spotting his crappy homemade skis, and free him from the refrigerator. After apologizing to the family, they do admit that his experiences have allowed them to take better vacations than he was allowed to as a youth, and start their own partying.

Epic Powder Dump B

Meanwhile, Klaus decides to turn his alcove into a home office. When he needs to get his landline connected, he talks to customer support and finds a lovely voice on the other end, but they get cut off and can't reconnect. After repeatedly hitting dead ends trying to find her again, he hears Snot using Steve's computer and the latter volunteers to help him find her. They eventually locate her in Roanoke, Virginia, but when Klaus visits, he finds that no one is home and chalks it up as a romance that was never meant to be, unaware that inside her house, there are similar charts to his home in Langley Falls, where she also knocks on the Smiths' door without result, and has to give up on him.
