Plot:
Francine is excited to see that they have a new neighbor family, despite the family warning her that she tends to come on a bit strong. When the family meets them, things seem to be going well, but that night, the rest of the Smiths signal the old neighbors to plot on how to get rid of them. However, Stan has reservations, having bonded a bit with the new neighbors as well as not wanting to disappoint Francine, but Hayley wins him over in joining to get rid of them. Hayley tries to tempt the husband sexually, leading to Jeff's intervention with a flare gun that results in him dropping the gun and getting shot with it, protected by a flame-proof suit. Believing he has killed Jeff, he takes Hayley's advice to flee with Stan to safety with his family. Celebrating their victory at a diner, they think that no one stole their traditional trophy doormat, until Steve reveals that he did get it.
However, Francine visits the house and finds it empty, but also recovers a pogo stick belonging to Al Tuttle. Finding their meeting room in the garage, she confronts them over their doormat collection from past neighbors. Stan fumbles trying to answer, but Hayley is more forthright, telling her they intentionally run new neighbors out. However, Stan promises her they won't chase out any more neighbors, and she demands they get the neighbors back. However, she soon finds them insufferable as well and demands their removal. The group fails to come up with an idea until Greg supplies them with cocaine. Riding the high, they accidently send their plans to the neighbor's printer. Their mad run into the neighbor's house causes them to run to the backyard where they plan an intervention.
Meanwhile, Roger unwillingly spends the day being a little boy's kite to brighten up his birthday from his deadbeat mom. He suffers through a day of abuse, but things take a turn when the mom gives her son a second ball of string to see how high the kite can go. Tying him to a stop sign, they leave him alone where he is cut free by a security officer and blows all the way into space. Attempting to grab a passing satellite, he is knocked even further into space but not before grabbing some solar panels, which he uses to attract a passing meteor.
He rides the meteor right into the neighbors house, and between the destruction and his appearance, causes them to flee. Later, Francine happily joins the neighbors haters club, despite not being formally invited.
A year later, Roger is the little boy's new 'space' kite, but he runs in terror when Roger wishes him a happy birthday.
