  • To calm her down from being upset at Klaus possibly ruining her plans, Roger gives Francine a horse tranquilizer.
  • Francine knows Parker for shouting "Bazooka Sharks", while Roger notes that he takes Tinder dates out for hot dogs at 7-11.
  • Francine loses her imaginary guests while planning due to Klaus changing her Spotify playlist to a Marc Maron podcast from 2015.
  • Hayley's often mentioned, but never before seen friend, Nerfer, finally appears.
  • Nerfer works at the new location of the Italian chain restaurant known as the Old Spaghetti Factory, and finds the combination of 'new' and 'old' funny.
  • It's suggested that Francine stole her produce from Tom's grocery store, although she denies it.

    • Mark Wahlberg was also a former rapper under the name Marky Mark, and was known for that single.
  • "Karma Chameleon" by Culture Club plays as Francine plays with the cats.
  • Francine finds the burgers at Wahlburgers terrible.
  • One of Klaus' podcasts includes the subject of forgiving Kevin Spacey.
  • Francine has not seen the film Get Out, but she has seen the film Parasite. However, the second film is irrelevant to Klaus' plot.
  • Klaus was able to hypnotize Jeff by filling his notebook with fun facts about marijuana, and then ringing a bell every time Jeff smiled at them.
  • Roger was only able to save Francine because he only had room for one, plus his luggage. Although he realizes that if he left his snowboard behind, he may have been able to save Hayley and Steve as well.
  • Pearl Bailey High School is renamed in Klaus' honor.
  • The American flag outside the Smith house is replaced with a yin-yang symbol depicting Klaus and a mermaid.
  • When walking through the newly brainwashed Langley Falls, Francine and Roger walk by a bookstore with a book on display. Entitled "Becoming", the book is a direct reference to Michelle Obama's book of the same name, and even features a picture of Klaus in a brown wig meant to make him look like her.
