Hayley makes Jeff get a friend to add some mystery to their relationship but gets more mystery than she bargained for.

Plot:
Over a dinner out, Jeff is unable to come up with something that Hayley doesn't already know about. Roger joins them to get away from his own crappy date and suggests they give each other some space to come up with new things. Dropping him off at a pub, he strikes out there, so she aims lower by dropping him off at a playground, which results in him going to jail after awkwardly trying to make small talk with a dad. When she tries to drop him off at an adult dodgeball game, he runs into Colby, another unwilling participant and ends up in a friendship. After spending the day together, it's revealed that Hayley paid Colby to hang out with him, but has to bribe him when he gets 'psycho killer' vibes from Jeff. When he blows off Jeff again, Hayley calls up angrily, only to find out that he's been murdered.
When she tries to talk to him about Colby, he lies to her about talking with him as he's washing what appears to be blood off his hands. Floating the idea that Jeff may actually be the killer past Roger, he lays out a pretty strong case that it might be true. During a dinner out at a Brazilian steakhouse, Jeff's knife work both horrifies and turns her on. Roger confronts her after a wild sex session and shows her pictures of Jeff's former friends, with 'X' drawn through them. Their investigation turns up the fact that all of them are either missing or dead, so she turns to the old time photography stand that all the victims had in common with Jeff, unaware that it's Willie, the proprietor who's been killing Jeff's friends so he could become his only friend, and Hayley is intended as his next victim. Back home, Roger calls and warns her that she's in danger...of not seeing his new wig. Hanging up the phone, a door creaks open and Hayley discovers a shrine to Jeff. Running for her life with Willie just behind her, she is hit by a car as Jeff comes out of a nearby store. As Willie prepares to finish the job, Hayley has developed amnesia so he leaves her be. Jeff is forced to reintroduce her to their daily life, which takes a slant towards his interests. When she spills pizza on her clothes, Jeff helps her burn them as well as his own and reveals that's what he did after getting ketchup all over himself when Colby broke up with him, lying to her because he was embarrassed. He also reveals that the pictures had 'X' through them because they stopped texting him back so he didn't want to bug them. Going for a photo shoot at the old time photography stand, the flashing of the camera triggers Hayley's memory. She tells Jeff to run for his life, but doesn't understand when she runs out with Willie in pursuit with a gun. He hesitates when Jeff orders him to stop, before realizing that Jeff doesn't have a gun, so he offers to only injure Jeff when he kills his wife and visit him in the hospital. Roger arrives to show off yet another wig, but when he loses it, he becomes distracted long enough to hit Willie with his car. Only injured, Willie is arrested and Hayley and Jeff agree to no more space between them.
Meanwhile, after watching a new story about a man who grew the world's longest fingernails, Steve suggests that Francine could possibly beat that record as her nails are already pretty long as well. She downs prenatal vitamins to give her a boost, but when Steve reveals that she's about to miss the deadline for that year's world's record book, she becomes determined to get into the current edition. With Dr. Kalgary's help, she starts pumping the vitamins directly into her bloodstream with a dialysis machine. At the Richmond Community Center for the world record qualifier, she tries to tickle a female weightlifter, but it backfires when it she drops the weights on Francine's fingernails, shattering them. However, one of the judges notices that she has a horn growing from her head from the vitamins, earning her the title of 'World's Horniest Woman'.
