  • The entire flashback sequence is broadcast in standard definition, because the original episode "Homeland Insecurity" was made originally for SD. However, the sequence is re-animated to fit the show's current artstyle.
  • Stan adopts the name Dirk Peters and moves to 699 Poplar Lane, Gravesville, Vermont 05001. This ZIP code is in White River Junction, Vermont; Gravesville does not exist.
    • Steve briefly sees Gravesville while having an out-of-body experience in "The Wondercabinet".
  • By taking the Golden Turd to Boca Raton, it sets up events for "Rapture's Delight".
  • The show uses this wiki's note that 'Boca Raton' means 'Rat's Mouth.'
  • Bananarama's "Venus" plays when the Smiths visit Isla Island, the island that Roger, for a brief time, became ruler of in the Season 6 episode Moon Over Isla Island, before letting a dictator take over.
